System requirements
Kura Cloud is our learning platform. In order to use the platform on your computer, laptop, tablet or phone, you need to ensure that you use one of the following browsers and devices:

Windows
kuraCloud supports the latest versions of the following browsers on Windows 7 or later:
- Chrome
- Firefox (including latest esr)
- IE11(metro and desktop IE versions are both supported)
- Microsoft Edge
Note: Windows RT is not supported.
Mac
kuraCloud supports the latest versions of the following browsers on Mac OS Mavericks or later:
- Safari
- Chrome
- Firefox(video is not fully optimized in Firefox for Mac)
iOS
Browsers
kuraCloud supports Safari and the latest version of Chrome on iOS 7.1.2 or later.
Devices
Please note: lesson authoring is not currently supported on phones or tablets. While we are dedicated to optimizing the student experience on these devices, this decision allows us to focus our efforts on ensuring an optimal authoring experience on desktop and laptop computers.
kuraCloud supports these iOS devices:
- iPad 3
- iPad 4
- iPad Mini 2
- iPad Mini 3
- iPad Air
- iPad Air 2
- iPhone 5C
- iPhone 5S
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
The following iOS devices are not recommended for use with kuraCloud (performance may vary):
- iPad 2

Android

Devices
kuraCloud supports devices running Android 4.4 or later with at least a 1.2GHz quad core CPU and 1GB of RAM. These requirements are yet to be finalized.
Chrome OS
kuraCloud supports Chromebook devices running Chrome OS 40 or later with at least a 1.8GHz quad core CPU and 4GB of RAM.
